Welcome Eri Theotokas: Picky Eater Therapist

Scott Palasik

Are you a speech-language pathologist with clients who are picky eaters? Well, 3C has a treat for you! We want to welcome our newest content creator and picky eating expert, Eri Theotokas. So let's learn more about her!

Today, Eri practices speech-language pathology in New York. She is currently being trained to provide orofacial myology/orofacial myofunctional therapy with her clients.

Out of her family, She was the first person to be born in America and to graduate from college. Her first language was Greek, and she did not speak English until she was three years old. Wow, talk about a great story!

Not only does Eri perform therapy pertaining to picky eaters, but she is a certified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. A bilingual therapist mixed with feeding therapy for picky eaters? Talk about a super therapist!

Working with clients of all ages, her current focus is:

  • Monolingual and bilingual speech-language evaluations

  • Assistive technology evaluations
speech-language therapy
  • Feeding therapy for picky eaters and problem feeders

This is where she will start passing on her expertise in two upcoming  webinars, coming soon to 3C Digital Media Network!

The first course will discuss how to prepare some feeding therapy for a picky eater/problem feeder, including what therapists should know and do before starting their therapy sessions (e.g., information about development, questions to ask parents/caregivers, etc.). Being a picky eater myself, I can’t wait to learn more!

The second course she is currently developing will discuss how to plan for picky eater/problem feeder therapy sessions and how to ensure these sessions run smoothly. As an SLP myself, I know that creating an efficient therapy session is key to any client’s success. This webinar will be vital to all!

A few more important things about Eri! Outside of work, she loves to:

  • Travel
  • Go fishing

  • Try new food
  • Dance

  • Swim
  • Read
  • Spend time with family and friends
  • Try adrenaline-pumping activities

You can find Eri on Instagram @legenderi.slp or email her at

We can’t wait to see her webinars and share them with all of you; let’s give Eri a big 3C welcome! We all look forward to her sharing her expertise in a much-needed area of speech-language pathology.
With excitement in our hearts, we await your courses. Thank you, Eri!
